Hey man, what area are you interested in? I can show you around some great desert style trails out there. Just make sure you stay off steamboat mountain. The BLM blocks access to steamboat mountain during certain parts of the year and they DO patrol it. Other than that, its pretty much all open to ride around as you please. There are a few private ranches that you need to be aware of before you go down some of the trails...

I would also suggest some beefy paddles like a standard buff extreme, or just a normal dirt tire. The trails are mostly sand and loose loamy dirt, but there is a lot of hidden sandstone and cactus that will play hell on your tires.

Some really nice riding is to head east of steamboat and hit the patches of dunes that run east towards wamsutter and rawlins.

I would be exploring the trails in a RZR-S all stock, the BLM should have maps at their office?

I will post then I decide when I am going maybe you can come play tour guide?

I have seen the dunes east of KP on google earth I just didnt know if they were off limits or not.

I have seen the signs on steam boat mountain that area is reserved for breeding grounds certain times of the year..

Thanks

How are dune and area conditions lately?

Lots of bugs?

Lots of rain?

Road to the dunes really bad?

Anybody been riding?

Thinking of heading that way this week gotta see if I can put it all together.

Thanks
