This is page 3 - New BLM Campground

The New BLM Campground is open as of July 1, 2003. Camping is free but there is a donation box that goes to maintain the area. If you go there throw in a few bucks to keep it free and well maintained - it's the right thing to do. Here is the entrance to the area.

How nice is this. An adjustable loading ramp in the day use area.

This is the overnight camping area looking towards the West- the first part you come to as you enter the campground.

This is the overnight camping area looking towards the East. The entire are is gravel so dust isn't too bad. You can no lonfger camp back by the trees though - it's fenced off.

The Overnight area that was closed off. I don't know if they just open it when it gets crowded (wasn't open on July 4th weekend) or if it just isn't finished yet. All the way in the back it loops around to the Day Use area.

Same area as above.

This is the day use area looking towards the West - it is the second part you come to as you enter the campground.

This is the day use area looking towards the East. Pretty big.

His and Hers facilities.

The Day Use area looking towards the West. This part is blocked off. Overall, the new area is really big. Kudos to the BLM for an EXCELLENT job!!!
